DRUGS & ALCOHOL POLICY

MKPOCHI RESOURCES is engaged in the creation and preservation of a work environment where all personnel can carry out all work activities in a healthy, safe and productive manner. It is recognized that alcohol abuse, together with the use drugs or
analogous substances, badly affects the work activity of the employee, creating a work environment that is inadequate in terms of safety and productivity, and creates high risks for the physical safety of all workers.

The use, possession, distribution and sale of drugs in the working places of the company are strictly forbidden. It is a terminal offence for any employee of MKPOCHI RESOURCES to be under the influence of alcohol or in
possession of or under the influence of any non-prescribed drug such as cocaine, amphetamine, marijuana, hashish or other illegal substances while on the company’s premises or worksite.

Such infringements as may occur will instigate the adoption of disciplinary
measures that may include the firing of the employee. To ensure that this rule is respected, the company reserves the right to
carry out spot checks without prior notice, of the presence of drugs and alcohol beverage in working places. If discovered, such substances shall be immediately confiscated and destroyed. All subcontractors are required to adopt an analogous policy.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS POLICY

In keeping with our Policy objectives, activities of the company in all its area of
operation are planned and executed in such a manner that;
1. Shall preserve the Health, Safety and Security of the members of the
general public including the host community who may be affected by our operations.
2. Ensures minimum impact on the environment of the host community:

• All pollutants like; chemicals and allied products in use on site shall be used and controlled in such a manner that all spillage and wastes are controlled within the project site
• Leakage or overflow to the adjoining Environment shall be avoided at
all costs.
• Any environment mishap or pollution shall be attended to immediately and measures taken to forestall reoccurrence. In any
case of spillage to the environment, the ASSET HOLDER must immediately be notified of the extent of pollution or mishap.
3. Our company shall be sensitive to the needs, requirements and aspirations
of the host community as much as are reasonably practicable.
4. The company shall employ at least 50% of its workforce on site from the
host community where requisite levels of skill are available.
Preference shall be given to the residents of the immediate community in all matters of employment on site.

HSE POLICY

MKPOCHI RESOURCES considers the health, safety and environment of its personnel as crucial in its day to day operation and activity. Thus a management system is instituted towards managing risks within the company/ work environment and the
following element is inclusive:
1) maximum commitment of
management to HSE plan and effective
leadership followup in HSE matters
2) HSE Written policy
3) Adequate resources for HSE
management and proper defining of
HSE procedures, for easy
understanding.
4) Hazards and Effects Management Process (HEMP) which identifies
risks associated with any job and instituting measures to control
those risks and recover in case of failure.
5) Audit and management review programmes to review and verify the
effectiveness of the system.

executing the work schedule safely and responsibly.
4. To provide and maintain plant and system of work that are safe and without risks to health and security of employees and others.
5. To review all accidents investigation reports and ensures that corrective actions are taken to avoid a recurrence.
6. Implementation of revisions to this policy as and when necessary.
